Families are expected to cover not only school fees, but uniforms, stationery and other essential supplies — costs that can make attending school impossible. For children with disabilities, financial barriers can be compounded by stigma and the belief that investing in their education is unnecessary.

KCF works to change that.

When our team identifies a child who could benefit from education, we help connect them with a sponsor and provide the practical support they need to attend school. From fees and essential supplies to transport and boarding costs, we work to remove the barriers standing between a child and their education.

Sponsors receive regular updates on their student’s progress, while our team in Uganda continues to support each child throughout their education.

Because access to education doesn’t just change a child’s experience today. It can create opportunities, independence and choices that shape their entire future.
